Los Angeles Rams in a glance

The Rams were founded in 1936 in the city of Cleveland as the Cleveland Rams and took part in the NFL championship in the same year. Although they took a few years to present themselves as strong competitors, in 1945 they would finally win their first championship. The very next season they would play as the Los Angeles Rams after relocating to the west coast of the USA and in 1951 they would win another NFL championship. The next big moment for the Rams came in 1979, when after back-to-back playoff appearances, they advanced to the Super Bowl final, where they were defeated by the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 1995 the Rams would move to St. Louis and thye would stay there for 20 years. That period would prove to be the best for the franchise as they would win the Super Bowl in 1999 for the first time in their history and would be in the final again in 2001, only to be defeated by the New England Patriots. For the same period they were nicknamed "The Greatest Show on Turf", due to the team's amazing attack. After returning to Los Angeles in 2015 the Rams would once again reach the Super Bowl final in 2018, but again Brady's Patriots would deny them the trophy. But they will go all the way and eventually win the trophy in 2021, their first Super Bowl as the Los Angeles Rams.
